Nothing here is an offer

The pages on this site describe how the firm works. They are not an offer to sell any particular domain name, and no price appears anywhere on the site. Sending the enquiry form, or receiving a reply to it, does not create a contract, does not reserve a name and does not oblige either side to proceed.

How a sale is actually agreed

A sale exists only when both sides have agreed a specific domain and a specific price in writing by email, and the transaction has been opened with a licensed escrow agent. The terms of that escrow file, together with the written terms agreed in the email exchange, govern the transaction. Where anything on this website conflicts with them, they win.

Payment

Funds for any purchase go to a licensed escrow agent and are released to us only after you confirm the domain is in your account. We do not accept payment by direct bank transfer, card, cheque or cryptocurrency, and nobody at this firm will ever email you our bank details. Any message that appears to come from us and asks you to send money anywhere other than an escrow agent you opened a file with is fraudulent — do not act on it, and please tell us.

No advice

Despite the firm's name, nothing on this site or in our correspondence is legal, tax, financial or investment advice. A domain name is not a security and we make no statement about what one will be worth in future. We do not clear trademarks. Whether a name is available for your use in your market and your industry is a question for your own counsel, and buying a domain from us is not a representation that it is.

Accuracy

The descriptions of registrar and escrow mechanics on this site reflect how transfers work at the time of writing and are given in good faith, but registrar policies and industry rules change. They are background, not a warranty of how any particular transfer will run.

Availability

The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or withdraw any page at any time. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this site. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

Using the site

You may read, print and share these pages. You may not scrape or bulk-harvest the site, use it to send us automated submissions, or reproduce its text as your own. The text, layout, code and mark on this site belong to Rye Advisors.
