About
A small firm with .
Rye Advisors holds exact-match .com domain names and places them with the companies whose name, service or market they describe. There is no second line of business, no advertising arm, no software. The firm owns names and sells them, one at a time, to the businesses most likely to use them.
Who you are writing to
Thea Lozano
I have spent around twelve years in digital brand strategy and domain portfolios. Most of that work has been with family-held operators, franchise groups and professional firms across the Southeast — businesses that have traded under the same name for twenty or forty years and whose .com went to someone else in the nineties, when nobody in the trade was watching.
What I learned early is that the owners of those businesses are not indecisive when they go quiet on a domain. They are busy, and the name is competing with a lease renewal and a hiring problem. So this firm is built to be patient. I state what a name is and what it costs, and then I wait. A quote that is right this quarter is still right next year, and I would rather hear back in eighteen months than push someone into a purchase they resent.
I answer every enquiry to this site myself. There is no assistant, no sequence and no sales team behind the address — which is also why replies come within a business day and not within an hour.
The office
West Peachtree Street, Midtown.
The firm works out of a suite on West Peachtree Street in Midtown Atlanta, a mile-and-a-bit district of Class A towers that holds most of the city's large law firms and, at its northern end around Tech Square, the densest cluster of start-ups and corporate research offices in the Southeast. It is a good place to watch how quickly a company's name outgrows the web address it settled for.
Everything runs on Eastern Time. Meetings are by appointment, and most of this business is done by email in any case.
How we work
Four commitments, kept in writing.
We say what we hold
If we write to you about a name, we own it that day. If you ask about a name we do not hold, the answer is that we do not hold it, not an offer to go and find it.
One price, no theatre
A single figure per name, with the reasoning behind it. No ranges, no auctions, no expiring offers, no other interested party.
Escrow, always
Money moves through a licensed escrow agent in every transaction, at any size. We will not accept a direct payment even if you offer one.
Stop means stop
One word in a reply ends the correspondence for good, with no confirmation email and no final offer. That applies to anyone at your company, for the whole company.
Write
A question costs nothing and starts nothing.
Ask what a name would cost, ask what it was used for before, or ask us to put the whole thing in writing so you can forward it to someone else. Any of those is a fine first message.
